Shanghai Shipyard CO., Ltd acquired the Quality Management System Certificate (ISO9001:1994) in year 1998 from CCS, Quality Management System Certificate (ISO9001:1994) from Lloyd’s Register (LR). Quality Management System Certificates (ISO9001:2000) from CCS and LR were gained in year 2003. Environment Management System (ISO14001:2004) Certificate and Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certificate also earned from CCS in Feb. 2007.

The production scope of the management system certificates include the design and production of the one smaller than the post panama vessels, design and production of the offshore engineering, repairing of the vessels less than 150,000DWT, production and installation of the steel structure, some production of the mechanical and electrical lifting facilities.

Brief Introduction of the company quality, environment, occupational health and safety management system operation:
The daily operation is in accordance with the management system files.
Inner audit towards the company quality, environment, occupational health and safety management is carried out thoroughly annually to check the effectiveness of the system. The result is recorded as reference to insure that the management system is continuously improved.
The inner audit is carried out at least once a year.
Management systems certificate audit: certificates issued by CCS audited once a year; certificates issued by LR audited twice a year.
